Energi Fyn continues roll-out with Waystream
Waystream has received an additional order from Danish broadband operator Energi Fyn Bredbånd. The order is worth approximately 2 MSEK.
The access equipment consisting of Waystream ASR 6000 and optical accessories is delivered immediately and will be used for expansion of Energi Fyn Bredbånd's broadband network.
Fiber is the fastest growing broadband technology in Denmark and the total number of broadband subscribers have grown by nearly 25% since 2013.
- We are of course pleased that Energi Fyn Bredbånd continues their roll-out with Waystream products. We have continuously supplied them with access technology as they have expanded their network that connects danish residential users to broadband services. Over the next few years, the market for fiber in Europe is expected to double, last years’ 31 million connected households is expected to reach 62 million within four years.
